Sin embargo, hay un aspecto que no se suele mencionar: la producci\u00f3n y propagaci\u00f3n de mentiras en internet puede ser una actividad bastante lucrativa. A diferencia de las imprecisiones del noticiario, que, muchas veces, resultan de alg\u00fan descuido de los periodistas, los inventos difundidos por las fake news son intencionales y muy bien calculados.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los deepfakes representan esa diferencia muy bien. Por tratarse de un contenido audiovisual generado por inteligencia artificial (IA), ning\u00fan profesional de la prensa podr\u00eda usarlo, salvo en alguna ilustraci\u00f3n puntual. Quien forja una declaraci\u00f3n en un deepfake demuestra una intenci\u00f3n bastante clara de inducir a las personas a error.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El lenguaje utilizado en la noticia suele incluir im\u00e1genes y declaraciones de entrevistados para mostrar hechos y an\u00e1lisis de expertos. Como el deepfake adultera v\u00eddeos y grabaciones sonoras, falsificando su contenido, es capaz de simular los elementos de la noticia y producir una noticia falsa (fake news) bastante convincente.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adhesi\u00f3n o promoci\u00f3n falsa<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entrenando la inteligencia artificial con im\u00e1genes y grabaciones de una persona famosa, es posible adulterar v\u00eddeos para modificar lo que se est\u00e1 diciendo. Si una persona famosa promueve alg\u00fan producto o adhiere a una determinada causa, el deepfake puede f\u00e1cilmente usar su discurso para relacionarlo a otro tipo de mercader\u00eda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El estafador tambi\u00e9n puede editar el v\u00eddeo para incluir elementos visuales que reafirmen la narrativa, pero la pieza clave es un di\u00e1logo ficticio en el que el invitado y presentador exaltan la calidad de la mercader\u00eda o servicio.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La idea es insinuar que hubo una recomendaci\u00f3n espont\u00e1nea del producto durante el programa noticioso.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Esto le pas\u00f3 a un animador de uno de los podcasts m\u00e1s famosos del mundo: su imagen y su podcast se usaron de forma ileg\u00edtima en piezas publicitarias para promover suplementos alimenticios.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Declaraci\u00f3n forjada<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Con noticias amparadas en deepfakes, los estafadores pueden intentar influir en los movimientos de la bolsa de valores de forma positiva o negativa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Con la inteligencia artificial, es posible <a href=\"https:\/\/hackerrangers.siteup.dev\/es\/cybersecurity\/why-does-cybersecurity-need-to-be-a-priority-for-cfos\/\">usar la imagen y la voz de los directores de la empresa<\/a> para anunciar proyectos, ganancias o p\u00e9rdidas que no son reales. La diseminaci\u00f3n de ese tipo de noticia, dependiendo de las circunstancias, puede influir a los inversores por un breve momento.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En 2022, un perfil falso de una empresa farmac\u00e9utica anunci\u00f3 que se ofrecer\u00eda un medicamento de forma gratuita y, al d\u00eda siguiente, la acci\u00f3n de la compa\u00f1\u00eda registr\u00f3 una ca\u00edda de casi el 5%. Aunque la declaraci\u00f3n se haya dado sin deepfakes y no sea posible decir que esa disminuci\u00f3n la provoc\u00f3 la publicaci\u00f3n, la cuenta ten\u00eda un status privilegiado en la red social y confundi\u00f3 a algunas personas. La farmac\u00e9utica tuvo que manifestarse para desmentir la informaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Una variaci\u00f3n de esa estafa incorpora la cuesti\u00f3n de la promoci\u00f3n falsa y utiliza la imagen de empresarios para divulgar oportunidades de inversi\u00f3n, sobre todo en criptomonedas. Los v\u00eddeos se divulgan en transmisiones en vivo y propagandas en redes sociales en las que se simulan ponencias o entrevistas. Quienes env\u00edan el dinero solicitado jam\u00e1s reciben ninguna respuesta.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAsesinato\u201d de reputaci\u00f3n<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los deepfakes tambi\u00e9n se pueden usar para da\u00f1ar gravemente la reputaci\u00f3n de una persona, ya sea poni\u00e9ndola en situaciones vejatorias o falsificando declaraciones pol\u00e9micas. Las im\u00e1genes se pueden combinar con elementos visuales t\u00edpicos de noticiarios, los que les dan una credibilidad indebida.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Muchas redes sociales no permiten ataques directos a la imagen de una persona. De esa forma, en general, esos contenidos tienden a circular solo entre grupos de usuarios o en publicaciones temporales. Cada uno de nosotros necesita tener cuidado para evitar compartir un contenido falso sobre otras personas, especialmente cuando la persona no es famosa, pues tambi\u00e9n es com\u00fan que el contenido falso se use para constre\u00f1ir a personas cercanas, como un compa\u00f1ero de trabajo o familiar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tanto los deepfakes como las noticias falsas ya forman parte de la internet y representan un riesgo para la sociedad y para cada uno de nosotros como individuos.
